The location was excellent. We walked to a flamenco dinner the first night and found Granada a beautiful city. The hotel welcome was good - it was nice to have the car taken for us to parking. We were in the Palacio - lovely clean room and a good size. Small complementary bottle of wine for my husband's birthday (could have been bigger ;). Excellent breakfast. Lovely outdoor area for drinks/lunch with vines/flowers - very beautiful. Spa was small but really relaxing - basically a huge jacuzzi, not really deep enough for a pool but great to relax in. Helpful and kind staff, gave us a map and booked taxi to the Alhambra.

Loved the rooftop deck with river views for breakfast and later, cocktails. Great location for crossing the bridge to Tirana and for walking to the centre. A super young fellow from Cameroon served us most breakfast times and a couple of times in the evening, very, very pleasant and good at his job. We ate in the restaurant downstairs one night and it was good despite the waiter accidentally throwing a bottle of water over me. Lol. Our room was really comfortable and had a great private deck with view of the river-loved that.

Very friendly welcome, reception staff was outstanding in reactivity and kindness (had to find doctor on Sunday, took them half hour). Hotel overall, especially the ancient part. We got an upgrade at arrival (thank you!!) from new part to ancient part. The rooms are spectacular in ceiling height, very complete equipment, large TV, safe etc. (all you'd expect from a 5* but neverhteless), very clean and silent, beautiful 4 night stay in magnificent Granada. Great parking valet service.

We had a superior room in the main house which had some of the original house features remaining. Wooden ceiling, mosaic floor. Lovely comfortable bed and good bathroom. The restaurant and breakfast was excellent and so were all the staff. The hotel is located in the centre of the city which suited us and you walked straight out into the main streets with wonderful shops, restaurants and bars. Granada is surrounded by hills and has a lovely atmosphere.

The room was superb - spacious, light, airy and very well appointed. As we were staying 3 nights, we were given a rather special room, fairly close the reception area, which occupied a corner of the building - highly recommended. This was certainly the best hotel we stayed at during our 2 week tour of southern Spain. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast too and Granada - well what can one say 'it's divine!'.
